Wow, I NEVER thought that getting the next
comic up would take this long! I suppose I took the possibilities
of things going wrong too lightly (though I don't think
I've ever taken the comic lightly!!)
First I had the flu for two weeks, and then
the modem went kaput. Mage had to seriously tweek the system
to get it working again. But he got it working because he's
a genius. Yup.
First of all while I know the Forum
is pretty much ignored, I'd appreciate a couple seconds
of your time to take the little poll. And I'd really appreciate
some postings!!
Secondly, if you love to click on links you can go here
to watch me on cam (usually late nights), or you can go

to bid on an Art Nouveau piece.
Thirdly, I have fallen in love with Tarepanda. And I have
been driven insane because I could not find a translation
for Atira kotirade tareteimasu. Kigatukuto sobaniiru.
My Japanese dictionaries and such are several hundred
miles away, and it's been so long since I've talked to anyone
that all I can do now is order an egg. Please help.

Sorry about the delay with the new comics! We were having
difficulties, technical or otherwise.
Though while the comic languished, the site did not. Many
of the pages have been revamped, there's more links up,
and the Biography page now exists.
I know it's a bit silly. I guess my inner Otaku was feeling
neglected.
Also I did some fan art for the comic Bunny
Extreme. The funny part is that Scum Bunny listed the
art as being drawn by "Dorkus Molorkus" instead
of by Change. I'm guessing it's some sort of honest misunderstanding.
Though it might be a comment on me in general. If it is
it's...uhh... still funny.

Right
now I'm trying to get the next comic done, plus a special
Halloween interlude that has nothing to do with this story
line at all.
I'm
also working on "snapshots" of a certain fluffy
critter (I'm not really sure that it's a rabbit. It might
be a living furry ball.) in a costume for the Frightnight
cartoonists' gathering. Sadly, I'm a wee bit confused about
what gets sent where, so it might be a bust.

have learned that if I have an older project that I'm stuck
on, and a new project I'm excited about, I will end up working
on neither. Apparently being stuck sticks me, and then I
can't work on anything else out of guilt.
Thus,

Apparently when
I set up the account I set something SNAFU, or there a bouts.
The end result is that the comic will never display the
day it's dated for, but rather will show up the day after.
When the ability
to change our account info comes back I can fix it. But
I'm not too freaked out. The Keen folks have enough to worry
about. And besides, what do I need even more Change for?
Then that would just be more me, and that would get dull.
That reminds
me, you should click on the add banner so that Keenspace
can get money.

Todays lesson
is: Try and have the story completely written before you
start. A rough outline only SEEMS good enough. If the story
stops making sense I'm really sorry.
I dated the comic
for Thursday. Let us see if it appears then or not.
I really wish
I could get some sort of message board up because feed back
would be GREAT. However, the hard working keenspace denizens
are at work fixing a glitch and until then no new message
boards.
At any rate,

The new comic did not appear.
I feel doubly wronged. Not only did my
drawings look much worse when shrunken down, but they don't
even appear in that magical Keenspace way that they should.
I think it might be because I am hazy
on when my account is set to update at. Between moving to
a different time zone and the lapse of time between signing
up and assignment I really have no hope of remembering.
Maybe I'll just start to name my comics
for the previous day so that the system will think that
they are late arrivals instead of being on time.
TM just called me a computer maniac.
He's sweet.

I finished the comic for Monday.
It hurt me.
Though Mage says he likes it, he just
would have used different fonts then I did. TM is the font
MASTER, he totally spanks them and they call him Daddy.
Soo...constructive criticism would be
way cool. I might start doing stick figures. I mean, this
is fun, but it took me almost 7 hours. Eventually my hand
will fall off, and then I'll cry. Because I'm whiny and
wimpy like that.
Also, keep your eyes on Shut
up & Dance.com TM's going to be starting a new weekly
column. (Some people might be wondering why the illiterate
one is in charge of the news box. It's because I called
it (: )

So I did finally put up a comic. Feel
free to let us know if we're grand or bland. (You can click
on our names in the logo) Mage says he likes it, and I appreciate
that. He really is a sweetheart.
Sadly it appears that when visitors leave
this site they tend to do it from the news page. Is it that
hideous? Ok, I know it is. But bad enough to drive people
away? Try to view it with a sense of humor. Like when looking
at the Dallas skyline.
I'm going to get scowled at for that
one, since Mage LIKES it ("it" being the skyline,
not the news page). And it IS impressive. It's just I think
outlining the buildings in neon ruins some of the stateliness
if it all. I'd rather see something calm and dignified.
No, really.

Ok, so here is the new look of the comic
page. Right now the last remnant of the "design so
hideous that TM stopped working on the picture page for
a couple hours to kill it" is the News Journal. I asked
him to leave that design. Maybe I'll add a chartreuse SPAN
to liven things up.
And no, I really don't feel guilty for
getting him to stop working on the pic page for a bit. After
all, he said he'd work on this for WEEKS without getting
to it. Just like a, uh...human.
Later today I'll put in an actual comic.
Though I could beat Mage with a giant oaken spoon for the
script he wrote. I should have mentioned that the main character
could NOT be based on a satirical version of me. On day
I'll learn.

So here I am playing hookie from work. I think, nay, I know
that I'm allergic to all of the perfumes they have in that
place. I'm tired of having my face swell up and being unable
to breath and talk. And they don't even pay me enough to
buy allergy meds. Ok ...end rant.
I thought this page design would be attrocious enough to
get Mage working on a more prestigious sort of layout. But
instead he just sort of frowned and nodded in that "I
don't want to hurt her feelings" sort of way. So you're
stuck with this! MWAHAHAHA!
Though of course by "you" I mean "me",
since I don't think anyone comes here.

Yes, technically I know the image I have
up right now isn't really a comic. But TM is super busy
setting up the Sinfest
Picture(etc.) Page , and it was driving me crazy not
having much of anything up here at all. Plus I need to know
if all of these tags WORK. Can ya dig it?
Eventually the comic will be scripted
by the Mage, and scribbled by me (Change/UglyKzin/TheGirl).
Actually, he has the first day of writing done, but as of
right now I'm waiting to get a paycheck so I can get the
requisite pictures developed. You'll see! (if it works)
